WhatsApp has become an easiest way to share anything and get in reach of maximum people by sharing the stuffs. It is used by billions of people and posts goes viral within few hours, specially the lucrative offers on sale or any incident. Recently, I got to know about the fake Big Billion sale on AmazonThe ongoing festive sales on Amazon & Flipkart let people get the products on highly discounted rates. So, the fraudsters also thought to make some money here.

The message circulating on WhatsApp is claiming to have a discount of upto 99 percent on the selected products along with “Shop Now” option.

The website link contains “blogspot.com” which clearly shows that it’s fake.
It also contains Big Billion Sale on Amazon but Amazon had Great Indian Festive Sale in the festive season.
They had created a dummy interface like Amazon which totally seems like Amazon on first view.

On selecting a certain product, the fake website asks personal information. When you click on the place order button, the page will highlight that you have to invite minimum 10 friends to be eligible for the sale and thus make it the biggest giveaway of the Festive offer.

Unless you do so, you won’t be allowed to make so-called purchase. It takes your personal information and may save your card details if it says to do so on the checkout page.

We suggest our readers not to open the link or share this kind of messages to any of your contacts which says to share it to certain number of people.

Now it’s time to share this warning with your contacts (whom you might have earlier shared the offer link) so that they can be safe. 🙂
